What do your aim to contribute through your thesis chapter that you’re working on? How much do you think would be enough for it? What information do you need to reveal or prove through your thesis chapter? An easy solution to get clear answers to these bothering questions is about to be revealed.
Prepare a list of things you aim for; ask yourself this question- “What if you are not able to achieve any of the listed tasks in the limited timeline you have?” If you get a frightening answer that you’d be totally screwed, you’d clearly know which elements are the most crucial ones to produce a minimum viable thesis chapter. We often tempt to aim for the highest possible, but this technique would help you define the least you need to target for a successful thesis. You can further add on beyond the minimum limited but would surely be satisfied that you’ve done enough.
